Employee Records

Employee records are used to define who can login to eoStar and its related suite of mobile platforms. In addition, they control the features and information each user can access after logging-in.

Access Records

This permission controls if a user can access, modify, add, or erase employee records. For more information see: Access Records.

How to Create a New Employee

  1. Go to Records > Employee > Records.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify the record number by either selecting a provided number or entering a new one.
  4. Enter the First and Last Name.
  5. Select the employee’s Department.
  6. Select who the employee Reports To.
  7. Select the employee’s Warehouse.
  8. Check This warehouse only to only allow the employee to perform tasks for their assigned warehouse.
  9. Select the employee’s Truck.
    • This is only necessary if the employee will be making deliveries.
  10. Select the employee’s Zone Affiliation.
  11. Check Truck pre-orders process via OTL to send pre-orders for this employee through the orders-to-loads process.
  12. Check Is eoStar Administrator to grant the employee administrative access in eoStar.
  13. Select Management Roles:
    • May Login – This employee may log-in to the eoStar backend.
    • Executive – This employee may be set as an Executive in eoTouch Executive.
    • Area Manager – This employee may be set as the Area Manager under Records > Customer > Records > Commissions panel.
    • Chain Manager – This employee may be set as the Chain Manager under Records > Customer > Chains.
    • Brand Manager – This employee may be set as the Brand Manager under Records > Product > Brands.
    • Sales Manager – This employee will be listed as the sales manager for customers with a salesperson who reports to this employee.
    • Branch Manager – This employee will be listed as the branch manager for customers with a salesperson who reports to this employee.
    • Account Manager – This employee may be set as the Account Manager under Records > Customer > Records > Commissions panel.
    • District Manager – This employee may be set as the District Manager under Records > Customer > Records > Commissions panel.
    • Warehouse Manager – This employee is able to use eoMobile in warehouse mode.
      • Warehouse managers may also be assigned as the Manager on Product Transfers.
      • When this flag is checked, the employee will not be able to access Delivery or Presell mode in eoMobile; even if the employee is also flagged as a Driver or Preseller.
    • General Sales Manager – This employee will be listed as the sales manager for customers with a salesperson who reports to this employee.
    • On-Premise Manager – This employee will be listed as the sales manager for customers with a salesperson who reports to this employee.
    • Off-Premise Manager – This employee will be listed as the sales manager for customers with a salesperson who reports to this employee.
  14. Select Sales & Delivery Roles:
    • Pre-Seller – This employee is a salesperson who goes on-site to record orders that will be delivered at a later date.
    • Vend Pre-Sell – This employee is a salesperson who goes on-site to record vending order that will be delivered at a later date.
      • Only available with the Vending feature.
    • Inside Seller – This employee is a salesperson who calls customers and takes orders over the phone.
    • OTC Seller – This employee is a salesperson who sells products over-the-counter directly from the warehouse.
    • Helper – This employee travels with and assists a driver with deliveries.
    • Driver – This employee delivers pre-sell orders, picks-up returns, and may sell product directly off the truck .
      • This flag must be checked to enable the Vend Driver flag.
      • A Driver must have a Truck assigned.
      • See eoTouch Delivery and eoMobile Delivery for information about delivering orders on a mobile device.
    • Vend Driver – This employee delivers pre-sell vending orders and may sell vending product directly off the truck.
      • See eoMobile Vending for information about delivering vending orders on mobile devices.
      • Only available with the Vending feature.
    • Supervisor – This employee can access supervisor mode on mobile devices.
    • Common Carrier – This employee record is for a third-party company that delivers pick-and-ship orders.
    • Merchandiser – This employee stocks product at the customer site.
    • Service Tech – This employee services distributor-owned equipment (such as vending machines, coolers, and fountains).
    • Covers a Zone – This employee represents a group of customers in close proximity.
      • Employee records with this flag will be included as a zone in Orders > Zone|Route Dispatch.
      • Employee records with this flag are also available to be selected as the Zone Affiliation on other employee records.
      • Only available with the Zone Dispatch feature.
    • Covers a Route – This employee represents a delivery or sales route.
      • Employee records with this flag will be included in Orders > Route|Employee Dispatch.
      • This flag must be checked to enable the Dynamic Route and Keg Route boxes.
    • Dynamic Route – This employee can be selected as the delivery driver when entering a pre-sell special delivery for any customer.
    • Keg Route -This employee can deliver product assigned a package flagged as Prefers Keg Routes.
      • Packages without the Prefers Keg Routes flag can still be delivered by a Keg Route.
      • Packages flagged with Prefers Keg Routes can only be delivered by Keg Routes.

Warehouse Filtering

Warehouse filtering prevents employees from performing tasks in eoStar for warehouses or related to warehouses to which they are not assigned.

Features Affected by Warehouse Filtering

Customers

The employee is limited to viewing customers associated with their assigned warehouse.

  • The Show all warehouses checkbox is hidden and the setting is unchecked.

The following panels on the Customer Record are also affected:

  • Assignments panel – Restrict “Bill-to” to Customers associated with the employee’s assigned warehouse.
  • Beverage panel – The Delivery Route and Sales Route are limited to routes from the employee’s warehouse.
  • Commissions panel – All fields are restricted to employees from the employee’s warehouse.
  • Schedule panel – When adding or editing an employee, the employees are limited to those from the employee’s warehouse.
  • SRS panel – Primary and secondary employees are limited to those from the employee’s warehouse.
  • Vend Commissions panel – The customer and “Vend Commissions Payable” field are limited to customers from the employee’s warehouse.

Inventory

The following interfaces are limited to the employee’s warehouse:

This is based on the following parameters:

  • Source – Limit the warehouse, drop point, and truck to only list record(s) belonging to the employee’s warehouse.
  • Destination (if relevant) – Allow any warehouse or drop point to be selected; limit trucks to records that are assigned to the employee’s warehouse.

Orders

The Order Entry screens are limited to the employee’s warehouse: Presell, Telsell, Hot Shot, OTC, Off-Truck. This is based on the following parameters:

  • Limit to customers, pre-sellers, drivers, and warehouse/truck (sold from field) belonging to the employee’s warehouse.

Orders to Loads

Both Commit Orders and Generate Transfers are limited to the employee’s warehouse.

Daily Route Settlement

Both Daily Route Settlement and Hot Shot Settlement are limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameters:

  • Limit the load route data to trucks, delivered by, driver’s helper, and secondary helper belonging to the employee’s warehouse.
  • After starting settlement:
    • Employees cannot pull orders from another warehouse.
    • Employees cannot create an order or payment for customers from another warehouse.
    • Employees cannot create a load out or load in from or to a warehouse other than their assigned warehouse.

Trackers

Order Tracker, Transfer Tracker, and Purchase Tracker are limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameters:

  • Each tracker has filters limited to the Warehouse or related records belonging to the employee’s warehouse.
  • Additionally, the loaded data will be filtered to only transactions either to or from the employee’s warehouse:
    • Orders from the employee’s warehouse or a truck belonging to the employee’s warehouse.
    • Transfers to or from the employee’s warehouse, a drop point belonging to the warehouse, or a truck belonging to the warehouse.
    • Purchases to the employee’s warehouse.
    • For Find purchase, Find transfer, and Find order, if a searched for transaction belongs to another warehouse, eoStar will not allow the employee to open it.
    • If an employee clicks on a hyperlink that would open a transaction for another warehouse, the transaction will not load and they will be presented with a message box indicating that they cannot access that transaction.

Bank Accounts

The Bank Accounts screen is limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameter:

  • Limit to bank accounts associated with a null warehouse or the logged in employee’s warehouse.

Bank Deposits

The Bank Deposit screens are limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameters:

Old Interface

  • Limit the Use checkbook from warehouse menu to the employee’s warehouse.
  • Limit the transactions displayed to the employee’s warehouse.

New Interface

  • Limit the Warehouse Selector to the employee’s warehouse.
  • Limit the Deposit Details Warehouse menu to the employee’s warehouse.

Manage Hold Codes

The Manage Hold Codes screen is limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameter:

  • Limit to customers belonging to the employee’s warehouse.

AR Adjustments

The AR > Adjustments screen is limited to the employee’s warehouse. The logged in employee cannot select Show data for all warehouses.

Payment Central

The Payment Central screen is limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameters:

  • Limit to customers belonging to the employee’s warehouse.
  • After changing New payment to Apply prior payments and credits the Add all customers with credits hyperlink can only find customers from the employee’s warehouse.
  • After clicking Batch Info at the top:
    • The bank account is limited to Bank accounts with a null warehouse or the employee’s warehouse
    • Entered By is limited to the employee’s warehouse.
    • Customers are limited to the employee’s warehouse.

WMS Locations

The WMS > Locations screen is limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameters:

  • Limit the Warehouse to the employee’s warehouse.
  • Limit the Warehouse area to Warehouse areas for the employee’s warehouse.

Warehouses, Warehouse Areas, and Trucks

Warehouses, Warehouse Areas, and Trucks are limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameters:

  • Limit the listed records to those for the employee’s warehouse.
  • Limit warehouse selection to the employee’s warehouse.

ION Reports

  • ION Reports with a warehouse selector limit the warehouse selector to the employee’s warehouse.
  • ION Reports with a customer selector limit the customer selector to the employee’s warehouse.

Print Report

The Print Report screen is limited to the employee’s warehouse. This is based on the following parameters:

  • Reports that take an Order #, Transfer #, or Purchase # first ensure that the transaction is from the employee’s warehouse.
  • Report filters (such as Customer, Warehouse, etc.) are limited to records for the employee’s warehouse.

This panel contains handheld passwords, daily start times, employee ID information, and additional employee flags.

More Panel

Handheld Passwords

If the employee should not be able to make certain changes, entering a password in the corresponding field will prevent them from making the change unless they are provided the password.

To add a password, simply type it in the field next to the restricted task.

  • Passwords have a maximum of 10 characters.
  • Do not use spaces in passwords.
  • For more information, see Passwords.

Leave the field blank to allow unrestricted access to the task.

  • Show Passwords – Display the password characters instead of asterisks.
  • Access – Password required to sync and login to a mobile device.
  • Inv Adjustments – Password required to void, cut, add, or write-off product from the truck.
    • If the Require Authorization for Delivery Adjustments checkbox is checked under Database Configuration, this password is also used when drivers call in for authorization for delivery adjustments.
  • Overshort – Password required to access the truck levels and over/short reports.
  • Item Price – Password required to enter a special price for a product.
  • B-Code Price – Password required to enter a special price for a billing code.
  • Discount – Password required to enter a special discount for a product.
  • Deposit – Password required to enter a special deposit for a product.
  • Force Promo – Password required to force a promotion without meeting the minimum requirements.

Daily Start Times

The employee’s expected start times can be entered for reporting purposes.

For each weekday the employee works, check the Use box and enter the start time in the field.

Additional Info and ID Fields

  • Pin – Enter the employee’s 4-digit access pin for eoWarehouse.
  • Payroll ID – Enter the employee’s payroll ID number.
  • License # – Enter the employee’s driver’s license number.
  • Lic. Expires – Enter the date the employee’s driver’s license expires.
  • Hired – Enter the date the employee was hired.
  • Terminated – Enter the date the employee was terminated.
    • Eligible for rehire – Check this box to indicate the employee departed the company in good standing and would be considered for employment at a future date.
  • Warehouse Zone – Select the warehouse zone the employee works in.
  • Default Company – Select the company the employee will be logged in under.
    • Only available with the Multi-Company Plugin.
    • If this field is not set, it can cause ION reports to return no results, particularly on mobile devices.
  • Receivables Group – Select the employee’s receivables group.
  • Default Delivery Commission – Select the employee’s default delivery commission rates.
  • Comm. Group – Select the employee’s commission group.
  • Commission Rate – Enter the commission rate the employee receives.
    • The rate entered here is for reporting purposes when commissions are handled outside of eoStar.

Employee Flags

  • Delivery Documents Required – Orders delivered by this employee must go through the Need Delivery Documents stage of the Order Tracker.
  • Goods delivered by this driver come from truck inventory – Orders delivered by this employee deplete truck levels, not warehouse levels.
    • When enabled, this setting also causes affected orders to skip the Needs Picklists stage of the Order Tracker.
  • Require service for all scheduled customers – Pre-sellers and inside sellers must enter either an order or a non-service reason for all scheduled customers.
  • Require handling of all deliveries – Drivers must either void, push-off, or deliver all scheduled orders before check-in (eoTouch) or strip/count truck (eoMobile) is allowed.
  • Download historical information for off-schedule customers – Historical sales information will be downloaded to the mobile device for off-schedule customers assigned to this employee.
    • This setting applies to both drivers and pre-sellers.
  • Employee uses mobile deposits – Payments collected by this employee are included when the Include only mobile deposits filter is enabled on the Create Bank Deposits screen.

Access Records Panel

This panel controls the employee’s access level for many of the records in eoStar.

  • A duplicate of this panel is located on the employee department record.
    • Settings can be pushed from the department level to all employees assigned to that department.
  • Settings that are underlined and in red text indicate a difference between the employee’s record and their assigned department.
Access Records

Each record has five levels of access:

  • No Access – The employee cannot access the record and the menu option is hidden.
  • View – The employee can access the record in view-only mode.
  • Change – The employee can access the record can make updates to existing entries.
  • Add – The employee can access the record, make updates to existing entries, and add new entries.
  • Erase – The employee can access the record, make updates to existing entries, add new entries, and erase existing entries.

Accounts Panel

This panel displays the employee’s assigned role for each customer they are associated with.

The flags at the bottom are used to show/hide the corresponding role in the grid.

Action Items Panel

This panel is added with the Action Items feature and displays all Action Items assigned to the employee.

Access to this panel is controlled at Records > Employees Records > Plugins Panel:

  • May see action items from the employee record panel
Action Items Panel

Click the link in the # field to open a pop-up with the full details of the action item.

AR Account Panel

This panel is used to set up an AR account to charge cash shortages and other invoice discrepancies to during Daily Route Settlement.

AR Accounts Panel

A customer record should be setup for each employee that may need to be charged for shortages/discrepancies.

  • Once assigned, these charges will be automatically generated and itemized on an invoice posted against the selected customer.
    • The charges will only be itemized if a cash discrepancy billing code is assigned at File > Database Administration > Configure > Route Accounting Panel.
    • The currently assigned billing code is listed for reference at the bottom of this panel.

Contact Panel

This panel holds contact information for the employee.

The following information can be stored on this panel:

  • Photo
    • There are two ways to upload a photo:
      • Click Browse, select the file, and click OK.
      • Copy the file and click Paste.
    • Click Clear to remove the photo.
  • Name

  • Fax
  • Email
  • Birth Date

CRM Panel

This panel holds the phone extension for inside sellers using an integrated phone system with the Customer Center.

CRM Panel

  • Enter the employee’s Phone Extension.

Customers Panel

This panel displays the name and address of all customers assigned to the employee.

  • Customers are assigned to an employee at Records > Customer > Records > Schedule Panel.
Customers Panel

  • Click the link in the Number field to navigate to the corresponding customer record.
  • Use the Show Erased Customers link to toggle between showing and hiding erased customers.
  • Check the Map box to view the customers’ locations in Google Maps.
  • The grid can be exported to Excel or printed using the icons in the upper-left.

 

Deposits Panel

This panel displays all bank deposits the employee has made.

Deposits Panel

The deposits are grouped by date and sorted to show the most recent first.

  • Click the link in the Deposits ID field to view the deposit’s details in a pop-up window.

Forecasting Panel

This panel is added with the Forecast feature and is used to define forecasting defaults for the employee and control the customers and products the employee can forecast.

Access to this panel is controlled at Records > Employees Records > Plugins Panel:

Forecasting Panel

The top portion of the panel contains the employee’s default settings for the forecasting dashboard.

  • Select the Forecast Owner Affiliation.
    • This is the forecast owner the employee’s forecasts will be saved under.
  • Enter the Number of Past Weeks and Number of Future Weeks.
    • These will be the default number of weeks calculated when entering the forecast dashboard.
    • If left blank, Past Weeks defaults to 0 and Future Weeks defaults to 16.
  • Check Use ISO Weeks to forecast according to the ISO standard weeks.
  • Check Monthly View to open the forecasting dashboard with the monthly view.
    • If not checked, the dashboard will open with the weekly view.
  • Select the Below Min Par Warning Color and Above Max Par Warning Color.
  • Check Disable Time Series Viewer Graph to hide the graph in the time series viewer widget.

 

The bottom portion of the panel is used to restrict the customers and products the employee can forecast.

  • Use the customer filter to select the customers the employee can forecast.
  • Use the product filter to select the products the employee can forecast.

HH Preorder Panel

This panel is added with the Build-To feature and is used to define products that will automatically be added to an off-truck delivery driver’s preorder.

HH Preorder Panel

To add products to the preorder:

  • Select the Item to add.
  • Set the Pre-order amount.
  • Select the pack size from the menu.
  • Click Add pre-order entry.
  • After all products have been added, click Post.

The amount will be applied to all weekdays by default.

  • Click the cell to edit the amount for a specific day.

Interfaces Panel

This panel is used to indicate if the driver’s orders need to be sent through a third-party platform prior to being picked and loaded on the truck. (Added with the Beer/Wine plugin)

Interfaces Panel

Checking a box will allow the driver’s orders to be exported to the corresponding third-party platform.

Inventory Sharing Panel

This panel is added with the Cross Dock Plugin and is used to assign a cross-dock source warehouse to a specific route.

Inventory Sharing Panel

The assigned truck will source its products from the selected warehouse without affecting any other route(s) source warehouse or having to change the truck’s assigned warehouse.

  • Select the route’s Cross-Dock Warehouse Override.

ION Permission Panel

This panel is added with the ION feature and is used to quickly view which ION reports the employee can access as well as set employee-specific default saved layouts for each report.

The ION reports the employee has access to are listed in black.

  • To update the reports the employee has access to, see the ION section of the Plugins panel.
  • Selecting a report will list that report’s saved layouts in the section on the right.
  • Use the Default for Employee selector to choose a layout that will be automatically loaded when the employee runs the selected report.

Login Panel

This panel holds the employee’s Active Directory username.

Login Panel

  • Enter the employee’s Username.
    • The domain name may be included if necessary, e.g. domain\username.

Non-Service Panel

This panel is added with the Customer Visit feature and displays all non-service visits by the employee.

Non-Service Panel

The grid can be filtered for a specific Non-Service Reason, Customer, or Date Range using the fields at the bottom.

  • Click Clear all view filters to reset the grid and display all non-service visits.

Objectives Panel

This panel is added with the Objectives feature and displays all objectives for the employee.

Objectives Panel

  • Check Show Descriptions & Comments to display recorded comments below the objective’s detail line.
  • Check Entered By Me to display all objectives created by the selected employee.
  • Check Assigned To Me to display all objectives assigned to the selected employee.
  • Use the key at the bottom to determine if an objective is Not Done, Succeeded, or Failed.

Payment Batches Panel

This panel displays all payment batches entered by the employee.

Payment Batches panel

  • Use the radio buttons at the top to change how many days worth of batches are displayed.
    • The radio buttons check against the Entered Date, not the Batch Date.
  • Click the link in the Amount field to view the batch’s details in a pop-up window.

Permissions Panel

This panel is used to control employee access to specific tasks in the eoStar desktop program.

Permissions Panel

A duplicate of this panel is located on the employee department record.

  • Settings can be pushed from the department level to all employees assigned to that department.
  • Settings that differ from the employee’s assigned department are underlined and highlighted in red.
    • This makes it easy to visually identify any special permissions an employee has been granted.

Orders

  • Enter all order types – The user may enter any kind of order and may access the Hot Shot Tracker.
    • Enabling this setting will automatically enable the next five settings as well.
  • Pre-Sell – The user may enter pre-sell and co-op orders.
  • Inside Sales – The user may enter inside sales orders.
  • Off-Truck – The user may enter off-truck orders.
  • OTC – The user may enter over-the-counter orders.
  • Hot Shot – The user may enter hot shot orders.
  • Void Orders – The user may void orders.
  • Can’t change if posted – The user cannot make changes to an order once it has been posted.
  • Can’t change if delivered – The user cannot make changes to an order once it has been delivered.
  • Dispatch Orders – The user may access the Delivery Dispatch and Employee Stop Sequences screens.
  • Order Tracker – The user may access the Order Tracker and the Pending Co-op Orders screen.
    • This setting must enabled to activate the next five settings.
  • To Be Picked – The user may move orders from the Needs Picklists queue to the next stage in the process.
  • To Be Printed – The user may move orders from the Needs Delivery Documents queue to the next stage in the process.
  • Delivery Confirmation – The user may move orders from the Needs Delivery Confirmation queue to the next stage in the process.
  • Follow-Up Invoices – The user may move orders from the Needs Follow-Up Invoices queue to the next stage in the process.
  • Web Orders – The user may move orders from the Web Orders queue to the next stage in the process.
  • Change Prices – The user may change prices on orders in the eoStar backend.
  • Change Discounts – The user may change discount amounts on orders in the eoStar backend.
  • Change Deposits – The user may change deposit amounts on orders in the eoStar backend.
  • Override Item Descriptions – The user may enter new product descriptions on orders for products with the May Override Description flag enabled.
  • Change Payment Terms – The user may change the payment terms on orders in the eoStar backend.
  • Change CRVs – The user may change California Redemption Value amounts throughout the eoStar backend.
  • Allow Layer Optimization Override – The user may override layer rounding when creating an order either in the eoStar backend, eoTablet, or eoTouch.
  • May Enter In-Market Orders – The user may enter In-Market orders.
    • The employee must be assigned a Truck and an AR Account to activate this setting.
    • This setting must be enabled to activate the next setting.
  • May Override In-Market Prices – The user may adjust prices when creating an In-Market order.

AR & Report Permissions

  • See Receivables – Enable this setting to activate the next four settings.
  • Enter Payments – The user may enter payments in the Payment Processing screen.
    • This screen is obsolete and no longer available in eoStar. For instructions on accessing and using the current payment entry screen, please see the Payment Central article.
  • Apply Credits – The user may apply credits to invoices in the Payment Processing screen.
    • This screen is obsolete and no longer available in eoStar. For instructions on accessing and using the current payment entry screen, please see the Payment Central article.
  • Do Follow Ups – The user may access the Payment Follow Up screen.
  • Enter Adjustments – The user may access the AR Adjustments screen.
  • See Commissions – The user may see commission amounts throughout the eoStar backend.
  • See Prices – The user may see prices on Product records.
  • See Costs – The user may see costs on the More panel on Product records and in ION Reports as well as access the Price Helper.
  • Print Reports – The user may access Print Reports.
  • Access Sales Analyzer – The user may access the Sales Analyzer and the Sales panel on Employee, Product, Customer, and Warehouse records.

Purchases & Transfers

  • Enter Purchases – The user may enter new purchases.
  • Void Purchases – The user may void purchases.
  • Change Posted Purchases – The user may edit purchases in the eoStar backend and enter date codes when receiving a purchase in eoMobile – Warehouse mode.
    • This setting must be enabled to activate the next setting.
  • Change Finalized Purchases – The user may edit purchases that have been received and finalized.
  • Purchase Tracker – The user may access the Purchase Tracker.
    • This setting must be enabled to activate the next four settings.
  • To Be Printed – The user may move orders from the Waiting to be Printed queue to the next stage in the process.
  • To Be Received – The user may move orders from the Waiting to be Received queue to the next stage in the process and access the Receive Purchase tile in eoWarehouse.
  • Supplier Bill – The user may move orders from the Waiting for Supplier Bill queue to the next stage in the process.
  • Freight Bill – The user may move orders from the Waiting for Freight Bill queue to the next stage in the process.
  • Enter Product Transfers – The user may enter product transfers.
  • Change Posted Transfers – The user may edit transfers.
    • This setting must be enabled to activate the next two settings.
  • Change Sent Transfers – The user may edit transfers that are in-transit, but have not been received yet.
  • Change Received Transfers – The user may edit transfers that have already been received.
  • Product Transfer Tracker – The user may access the Transfer Tracker.

The most recent date with an event will be automatically selected.

  • Use the Show events from/thru menus to change the date(s) to display.
  • Check Show Details to display additional information about actions performed at each stop.

This panel is used to analyze sales information for the employee.

The sales panel utilizes the sales analyzer functionality, except it is limited to sales for the employee.

Schedule Panel

This panel displays each customer the employee is scheduled to visit on each day of the week.

Use the radio buttons at the top to choose which day’s schedule to display.

  • All customers will be listed on their scheduled service day(s), regardless of their schedule cycle.
    • A scheduled customer will not be included in the list if the employee is not assigned to handle any product classes on the customer’s schedule panel.
  • Customer’s can be dragged-and-dropped to change the delivery sequence.
  • Check Show Map to view each customer’s location and a suggested route from the warehouse to visit each customer in sequence.
  • Check Show Erased to include erased customers the employee is still assigned.
    • Erased customers are highlighted in red.

The following permission allows the user to update this panel while restricting them from updating other information on the employee record.

Service Calls Panel

This panel is added with the Service feature and displays information about all service tickets the employee is assigned.

The bottom section lists the log of events for the ticket selected in the top section.

  • Use the Show Status Descriptions link to toggle between showing and hiding the ticket status line.

Session Messages Panel

This panel displays information regarding changes the employee has made in eoStar.

Access to this panel is controlled at Records > Employees Records > Plugins Panel:

This panel is added with the Territory Planner feature and displays the Route Groups the employee is associated with.

The route group associations can be manually adjusted from this panel if necessary. However, it is recommended that this information only be updated by the Territory Planner Imports.

  • To add a route group:
    • Choose the route group from the selector.
    • Click Add Route Group.
  • To remove a route group:
    • Select the route group from the list.
    • Click Remove Route Group.

Vend Route Mins Panel

This panel is added with the Vending feature and is used with Predictive Vending loading predictions. The minimum amount that will be loaded on a truck can be set per-product, per-day.

To set a product’s minimum quantity:

  • Choose the product using the selector.
  • Set the Minimum amount.
  • Click Add Minimum Entry.
  • The amount entered will be applied to each day of the week.
  • To set a perticular day to a different amount, simply click the cell and type in the new amount.

This panel is added with the Vending feature and displays all vending tickets entered by the employee.

  • Click the link in the Ticket # field to view the details of the ticket in a pop-up window.
  • Click the link in the Customer, Model, or Machine fields to to navigate to the corresponding record.
