eoTouch Delivery – Adjust Inventory

The adjust inventory screen allows drivers to view current product levels on their truck and enter transactions to adjust the product levels.


Setup

Write-Off Reasons

Write-off reasons must be set up in order to utilize the write-off function in eoTouch Delivery.

eoStar comes with 4 write-off reasons already created:

  • Cut
  • Damaged
  • Out of Date
  • Spoiled

Additional reasons may created as necessary.


How to Adjust Inventory

Cut Product

Cutting a product reduces the truck’s inventory by the amount cut and creates a transfer from the truck to the truck’s warehouse.

Cut Product
  1. Tap Adjust Inventory.
  2. Tap Cut.
  3. Tap the ellipses.
  4. Tap Warehouse to select the warehouse the inventory will be transferred to.
    • Automatically defaults to the user’s assigned warehouse.
  5. Tap a warehouse to select it.
    • Indicated by a check mark.
  6. Tap < to return to the previous screen.
  7. Tap + Add Items.
  8. Use the Search box to find specific products.
  9. Tap a product to select it.
    • Indicated by a check mark.
  10. Once all products being cut are selected, tap Done to enter the quantities.
  11. Enter the Qty to cut.
  12. The Truck Levels screen will immediately be decreased by the amount entered for each product.
  13. Tap the ellipses.
  14. Tap Print or Preview to review a report of the transfer.
  15. Tap the envelope icon to email the report.
  16. Tap the printer icon to print the report on a bluetooth printer.
  17. Tap the export button to save or send the report using another communication method available on iOS devices, such as AirDrop.
  18. Tap Done to close the report.
  19. A transfer from the truck to the selected warehouse will be posted during the next upload or full sync.

Add Product

Adding a product increases the truck’s inventory by the amount added and creates a transfer from the truck’s warehouse to the truck.

Add Product
  1. Tap Adjust Inventory.
  2. Tap Add.
  3. Tap the ellipses.
  4. Tap Warehouse to select the warehouse the inventory will be transferred from.
    • Automatically defaults to the user’s assigned warehouse.
  5. Tap a warehouse to select it.
    • Indicated by a check mark.
  6. Tap < to return to the previous screen.
  7. Tap + Add Items.
  8. Use the Search box to find specific products.
  9. Tap a product to select it.
    • Indicated by a check mark.
  10. Once all products being added are selected, tap Done to enter the quantities.
  11. Enter the Qty to add.
  12. The Truck Levels screen will immediately be increased by the amount(s) entered for each product.
  13. Tap the ellipses.
  14. Tap Print or Preview to review a report of the transfer.
  15. Tap the envelope icon to email the report.
  16. Tap the printer icon to print the report on a bluetooth printer.
  17. Tap the export button to save or send the report using another communication method available on iOS devices, such as AirDrop.
  18. Tap Done to close the report.
  19. A transfer from the selected warehouse to the truck will be posted during the next upload or full sync.

Write-Off Product

Writing-off a product reduces the truck’s inventory by the amount entered and creates a write-off transfer from the truck.

Write-off Product
  1. Tap Adjust Inventory.
  2. Tap Write-Off.
  3. The product list will automatically populate with all products currently on the truck.
    • This includes any products picked-up during the day.
    • Write-off quantities cannot be entered until a write-off reason has been selected.
  4. Tap the ellipses icon to open the menu.
  5. Tap Select Write-Off Reason.
  6. Tap a reason to select it.
    • The selected reason is indicated by a checkmark.
  7. Tap Write-off #XXXXX to write-off product(s) for the selected reason.
  8. Enter the Qty to write-off.
  9. A new write-off for the selected reason will be created.
    • If a write-off already exists for that reason, the new amounts will be added to it.
  10. If any other products need to be written-off, tap the ellipses icon to open the menu.
  11. Tap + Add Item(s).
  12. Tap the product(s) to select it.
    • Selected products are indicated by a check-mark.
  13. Tap Done to add the product(s).
  14. Enter the Qty to write-off for the additional products.
    • They will be added to the write-off.
  15. A write-off transfer will be posted during the next upload or full sync.
  16. A copy of the write-off can also be printed:
    1. Tap the ellipses.
    2. Tap Print or Preview.
    3. Tap the envelope icon to email the report.
    4. Tap the printer icon to print the report on a bluetooth printer.
    5. Tap the export button to save or send the report using another communication method available on iOS devices, such as email or AirDrop.
    6. Tap Done to close the report.
  17. Repeat steps 4-16 for other write-off reasons as necessary.

Review Truck Levels

The truck levels screen lists the amount of each product currently on the truck.

Review Truck Levels
  1. Tap Adjust Inventory.
  2. Tap Truck Levels.
  3. The amount of each product currently on the truck is displayed.
  4. Tap the printer icon to select a layout for printing the levels.
    1. Truck Levels – This layout displays the amounts of all transaction types for each product on the truck and groups the products by category.
    2. Truck Levels 1-Line – This layout contains the same information as the Truck Levels layout, but in a more compact arrangement.
    3. O/S Report – This layout displays the expected ending level and actual (current) level for each product on the truck with the difference between them and groups the products by category.
    4. O/S Report 1-Line – This layout contains the same information as the O/S Report layout, but in a more compact arrangement.
  5. Tap the message icon to email the report.
  6. Tap the printer icon to print the report on a bluetooth printer.
  7. Tap the export button to save or send the report using another communication method available on iOS devices, such as email or AirDrop.
  8. Tap Done to close the report.

The pallet list option opens a report listing the bay each pallet on the truck is in.

  1. Tap Adjust Inventory.
  2. Tap Print Pallet List by Bay.
  3. Tap the message icon to email the report.
  4. Tap the printer icon to print the report on a bluetooth printer.
  5. Tap the export button to save or send the report using another communication method available on iOS devices, such as email or AirDrop.
  6. Tap Done to close the report.
